Dock Installation/Removal

Installation includes initial, standard placement of decking material, leveling of dock and lifts and necessary adjustments to water level at the time of installation. It is your responsibility to contact the office to notify us if you want your system setup different than what we have done in the past. We have documentation from previous years of the placement and that is what we will go by unless notified. If you do not contact the office to notify of any changes, you will be additionally charged to have us change your placement. This cost does NOT include the cost of other services we provide such as zip tying, screwing or bolting decking down, installation/removal of boats/pontoons, adjustments to docks and lifts because of higher/lower water level throughout the year, boat/dock recovery resulting from storms, dock and lift repairs etc.

Because we care about you our customer and our employees, if any equipment seems unsafe, we will not install that piece of equipment and notify you immediately that it is in need of repairs. At the end of the season, please have your cartilever lifts cranked up all the way; on a vertical lift please leave the bunks at waist height or just above water level. This is the safest position for your lift bunks without a boat or pontoon on them. Removal includes: removing decking material, dock & lift. Refunds will only be made if you sell your property during the 2017 season. There will be an additional Service Fee charge (an additional 25%) for non-prepayment and/or “out of season” services. Your price quote is made specifically for you and the equipment that we have on file. Please make sure that we have the correct listing of your equipment. If you add or delete any equipment from what is listed, please notify our office immediately so we can make the necessary adjustments.

Spraying and Fertilizing

We offer several programs for you to choose in order for you have the lawn that you are looking for. Of course, the more applications and weed control maintenance you choose will have a direct effect on the outcome of your lawn.

Pre-emergent (crabgrass preventer) – Timing is essential with this type of weed control. To prevent crabgrass from growing, you need to head off its growth cycle before it germinates. Pre-emergent prevents growth for 6 – 8 weeks. After this time frame, typically, the conditions are not favorable for the crabgrass to grow. Broadleaf weed control – Herbicides are the only practical method of weed control. The herbicide is applied AFTER the weeds have emerged from the soil. The herbicide must touch the weed in order for the plant to absorb the chemical into its circulatory system and kill the root. Grub Treatment – Grubs are detrimental to your lawn if left untreated. Grubs develop from adult beetles that lay their eggs in the ground during the summer. When the grubs hatch, they begin feeding on grass roots until the autumn cold makes them dig deeper into the soil to spend the winter. In the spring, they move back up and resume feeding on grass roots. Without treating grubs, your grass will die from lack of a root system and you will have to seed your entire lawn again. Lawn damage by grubs is substantially more expensive to repair than to prevent. Because beetles tend to return to the same area year after year to mate and lay eggs, we recommend applying a grub treatment every spring. Spot spraying – Applied with a hand held spraying wand where sprayer machine cannot reach. This is done on sidewalks, driveways, mulch beds, rock beds etc. This service is included in our Platinum, Gold & Silver programs only, at no additional cost. All other requests will be additionally charged. Post emergent (crabgrass killer) – Kills crabgrass that has germinated later in the season and grown. Later in the season, crabgrass can germinate under favorable conditions and begin to grow. If your lawn has a great deal of initial crabgrass, we highly recommend this treatment to control crabgrass. It is desirable to apply an additional post crabgrass emergent treatment later in the season.
